C-Pod Yacht Management System Base Station

Easy to install, C-pod acts as the owners ‘eyes and ears’. Boats can be tracked globally and alarms monitored using data, which is transmitted wirelessly to C-pod’s central server. Secure direct access to information via a web portal or mobile phone enables the owner to monitor and manage their boat using real time data – location can be plotted, power levels checked and alarm status viewed. Should intruders break in, power fail, fire, gas, high water or motion incidences occur, instantaneous message alerts are sent via GPRS to C-pod’s central server. These alerts trigger a number of predetermined procedures; text messages and emails can be sent to the owner or an appointed third party to respond to individual alarms.

The new c-pod system offers the ability to handle incoming boat alarms, these can then be sent via SMS message or e-mail, they are also visible on the web portal. A wide range of sensors can be fitted: Anti-theft, Intrusion, Geo-fence (triggers when the built in GPS receiver has moved more than 250m), Battery disconnect alarm, System warnings and Battery levels. ‘Heartbeats’ can be sent on regular intervals to confirm that the system is working. C-pod will also send its position and status at any time.  A wide range of accessories are available.
