Simrad TP10
Designed for tiller-steered sailboats up to 3,700kg (8,140lbs) and up to 10m (33ft) in length, the TP10 is a high power, easy-to-operate autopilot, which comfortably outperforms all challengers in its class. With a peak thrust of 65 kg (143 lbs) and a lock-to-lock speed of 8 secs with a 20 kg (44 lbs) load, the TP10 shows just what can be achieved with advanced design and engineering.
Adjustments to course to Starboard, in 1 (press key once) and 10 steps (hold key down). Adjustments to course to Port, in 1 (press key once) and 10 steps (hold key down). In its stand-by mode the tillerpilot will lock onto the current heading with a press of the key. Another single press will return the pilot to stand-by mode. By pressing the tack key and either the port or starboard key the pilot will steer the boat effortlessly onto the other tack. Pressing the NAV key will stear the boat to the next programmed waypoint. GPS information can be provided via SimNet or NMEA. !
