Before you can download map detail to a memory card or directly to your compatible Garmin GPS, you must “unlock” the TOPO Great Britain DVD. Simply follow the instructions on the included certificate to unlock the entire DVD. Next, download the data to a data card or to your compatible Garmin unit.
Using your PC, you can select detailed maps tailored to your next trip and download map data directly to your compatible Garmin GPS. This screen shows what topographic map data from the TOPO Great Britain DVD looks like on a PC.
The map detail looks excellent on a unit, such as an eTrex Vista C screen, after downloading the map data from your PC.
