Comar SLR200N

NEW. The SLR200N is a Dual Channel Parallel synthesized Ethernet AIS receiver designed specifically for the Leisure Marine, Fishing Boat and Vessel Monitoring market. It enables coastal stations, or boats sailing in busy shipping lanes, to receive AIS (Automatic Identification System) information being transmitted from Class “A” transponders as fitted to vessels over 300 tons, and non-mandatory Class "B" transponders as fitted to small commercial and leisure craft.

Connected to a PC or Router, via the industry standard RJ45 connector, the SLR200N enables AIS data to be shared on a local network or accessed from a remote location. When connected to a PC running a compatible AIS program information can be displayed giving visual interpretation of the name, position, course and speed of vessels within VHF range.

The information that can be received by the SLR200N is as follows:

Name of vessel              Call Sign                       Type of Vessel              Destination

Speed (SOG)                 Course (COG)               Heading                        Rate of Turn

Position                     Navigational Status        Vessel dimensions         MMSI Number
