The new SE-200 Sonar Engine adds scanning sonar capability to today's popular multifunction & large panel displays & easily turns most video capable chart plotters, radars, & other multifunctional displays into full-featured forward-looking sonars.
Each SE-200B Sonar Engine™ includes the “black-box” Engine, transducers, remote keypad and basic cabling as shown above. The SE-200B Sonar Engine™ scans a forward- looking beam both vertically and horizontally over a 90 degree segment using a single dual axis thru-hull transducer. In the vertical mode the beam scans from the surface ahead to the bottom below, similar to the graphic at left. This mode is particularly useful navigating unfamiliar waters, detecting coral, rock pinnacles and other submerged objects directly ahead of the vessel.
SE-200B offers both 90 deg vertical and horizontal scan.
A powerful forward looking sonar with many features of the popular Twinscope & iScan 180 - scan vertically, horizontally or operate as a full featured colour depth sounder. Dual station configurations & a wide choice of displays are available.
The SE-200 engine can be mounted up to 300ft away from the display unit, multiplying the mounting options, this eliminates the need for costly transducer extension cables & makes installation easy.
Choose from a dedicated Interphase 7" sunlight viewable display (identical to Twinscope) or an optional remote keypad is available that connects to most video enabled multifunction or VGA displays - the choice is yours !
