Simrad CX 34 optional radar

Navstation 7" colour c/w GPS antenna. The new Simrad CX34 Display has a smart, new PrimePad making operation much easier – putting you in control. Pressing a single button selects the mode you want! The screens have improved readability and layout – much easier to use. More powerful and higher speed processors improve chart drawing times and make high speed navigation safer.

Sunlight and Sunview Display Options

The CX34 Sunlight displays feature high contrast display panels with anti-repflective coatings making them easily viewable in cockpits.
For motor boat flybridges, the CX44 SunView displays are recommended. These feature advanced transflective display panels that reflects sunlight, giving a brighter crisper image even in direct sun light.

Radar, or GPS Chartplotter, or both on one screen

Simrad CX Series combines the latest in SDGPS chartplotter and radar. The perfect combination also where space is limited. Your position is continuously updated on the detailed electronic chart, which can be customized to suit your requirements for scale and details.
When interfaced with a depth instrument, the CX will display a historical depth recording, with the ability to to scroll back and create a waypoint at a given depth point. Useful for locating wrecks.

The chart system is based on the award winning C-Map Electronic C-Cards.

Both the standard
NT+ cards or the latest C-Map MAX cards can be used. The very precise and detailed vector charts, enable window pop up with information on ports, navigational marks, lights, buoys, depth contours etc. It is possible to customize the chart presentation by turning various details on or off. As you sail along, the ship’s symbol will automatically move across the detailed chart indicating precisely where you are in real time. The new MAX charts will offer 3D images and aerial photograph of harbours.

Radar (add on option)

The radar function ensures a safer and more relaxed voyage. Easy operation and advanced features will assist your navigation and look-out, especially in bad weather and at night. The
Dual Range function can give a detailed close range radar image with the long range overview longside. With the double speed antennas it´s like having two radars in one. In poor visibility you really get the full picture.
