Instruments
Garmin is a top producer of road and water navigation devices. Now they are making their own boating instruments. Since they are starting afresh they have no formula to follow and have come up with a single instrument the GM10 which can display any information via NEMA 0183 & 2000.

The 3.5 inch display is color and is controlled by 3 soft keys that operate a simple text menu. You can choose single or multiple items of data in digital or analogue form. The GMI 10 is a separate control that is used when you have the GHP 10 autopilot which will be available soon.

The rugged GPS 17x NMEA 0183 (HVS) and  2000 receiver/antenna offer high sensitivity reception and pinpoint GPS accuracy to the Garmin family of marine instruments, autopilots and multifunction displays. This 12-channel receiver continuously tracks satellites and reports your precise position. It is also WAAS-capable, so it can determine your precise location to within 3 meters — without using an external DGPS beacon receiver. Part of the Garmin marine instrument family, the GPS 17x is built to withstand the elements. This waterproof sensor can be pole mounted or flush mounted. It also can be attached to the underside of many fiberglass decks for added ease of installation.

Available as NMEA 1830 or NMEA 2000.  Use with GMI 10 instrument

Garmin GMS10 Fuel Sensor

Add fuel tracking capabilities to your Garmin chartplotter and optimize your boat's fuel economy. The GFS 10 tracks fuel flow use and sends the data to your chartplotter via the Garmin CANet or NMEA 2000. Unlike other fuel flow sensors, the GFS 10 will include fuel level sensing capability when connected to an existing analog fuel gauge or resistive fuel tank sensor. Maximum fuel flow rate for the GFS 10 is 50 gallons per hour, and the minimum flow rate is two gallons per hour.

The GMI 10 Digital Marine Instrument display adds a new dimension of flexibility for boaters who want a fully integrated marine instrument system. The GMI 10 improves upon the traditional method of marine instrumentation, in which standard marine instruments have their own dedicated display. By displaying data from multiple remote sensors on one screen, the GMI 10 offers a streamlined approach to marine instrumentation.

Garmin GWS10 wind sensor

The GWS10 is the first Garmin wind sensor, targeting the sailboat market. The unit consists of "smart" transducer that provides the data output via NMEA 2000 to GMI10 and other NMEA 2000 devices.

It also provides barometric pressure and air temperature data, providing weather information for sail and power boats. Fast 10Hz wind direction output to create the smoothest graphical needle movement on the market
