Interphase

Interphase offers the sailor or fisherman a virtual image of the underwater area ahead of the boat! Two methods of scanning are used.

FORWARD VERTICAL SCANNING - see submerged objects and bottom contour directly in front of your boat
In some products the phased array transducer is oriented to scan a 12 degree beam vertically from directly ahead of the vessel to the bottom below. The vertical scanning mode provides an incredible useful tool to monitor the water's depth directly ahead of the vessel and warn of hazards or changing bottom conditions.

FORWARD HORIZONTAL SCANNING - see a radar-like picture of the submerged area ahead and to each side of your boat
The transducer array can also be oriented so that it scans a 12 degree beam either 90 or 180 degrees horizontal arc. The horizontal scan is extremely useful to track schools of fish and help locate and follow tricky channels and find openings in reefs.

Interphase Twinscope Colour

!

The all-new Twinscope colour from Interphase Technologies works like an underwater acoustic radar to show "live action" views of shallowing bottom conditions, underwater structures, large forward obstructions and fish or schools of bait out ahead of your boat. The Twinscope is the first affordable navigational sonar with the ability to look far forward and to the sides of your vessel. You can't afford to be without this valuable tool. Utilizing an exclusive phased array scanning technology the TwinScope can reveal navigation hazards or suspended fish in the water in front of your boat while monitoring current depth! What could be safer than to see ahead, underwater? Available with 3 transducer options.

Interphase iScan 180

The all new 3000-Watt Interphase iScan 180 uses two phased array transducers with no moving parts. One transducer is mounted on either side of the vessel's keel to enable a full 180-degree horizontal scan sector (90-degrees each side of the vessels bow) and allows for easy installation on trawlers, large cruising sailboats and other vessels with deep, or full keels. Working like an acoustic underwater radar, the new Interphase iScan 180 can function in three useful modes. The Forward Vertical Scanning mode shows a view from the surface directly ahead of the vessel to the bottom below and is very useful for monitoring changing bottom conditions and detecting fish or other obstacles. In the Forward Horizontal Scanning mode, the Interphase iScan 180 uses two electronically linked transducers to smoothly steer a searchlight-like beam over a full 180-degrees. In either mode the beam can be steered directly down to view either a split or full-screen conventional downlooking depthsounder view.

The composite video output connects to most multifunction displays enabling you to have a forward looking sounder on your existing equipment. Forward range of up to 1200ft & a depth range of 600ft.

For use with Koden, Seiwa, Raymarine, Garmin, Furuno multifunction displays, or with a dedicated display. Uses 1 phased array in either a single through hull or single transom mount transducer to scan vertically ahead.

The new SE-200 Sonar Engine adds scanning sonar capability to today's popular multifunction & large panel displays & easily turns most video capable chart plotters, radars, & other multifunctional displays into full-featured forward-looking sonars.

Each SE-200B Sonar Engine™ includes the “black-box” Engine, transducers, remote keypad and basic cabling as shown above. The SE-200B Sonar Engine™ scans a forward- looking beam both vertically and horizontally over a 90 degree segment using a single dual axis thru-hull transducer. In the vertical mode the beam scans from the surface ahead to the bottom below, similar to the graphic at left. This mode is particularly useful navigating unfamiliar waters, detecting coral, rock pinnacles and other submerged objects directly ahead of the vessel.

SE-200B offers both 90 deg vertical and horizontal scan.

Interphase SE-200C

The new SE-200 Sonar Engine adds scanning sonar capability to today's popular multifunction & large panel displays & easily turns most video capable chart plotters, radars, & other multifunctional displays into full-featured forward-looking sonars. For those vessels with full deep keels or whose owners want a full 180 degree forward horizontal scan, the model SE-200C Sonar Engine™ with two thru-hull transducers (one mounted on each side of the vessel’s keel) is also available. Both systems include the ability to operate as either a split-screen or full screen downlooking depth sounder.

Supplied complete with 2 thru hull transducers and fairing blocks

SE-200C offers both 90 deg vertical and 180 deg horizontal scan.

Interphase Ultrascan for use with PC

!

Interphase introduces a major breakthrough in scanning sonar technology. The all new Interphase Ultrascan PC90™ uses advanced digital signal techniques to create high resolution, forward looking underwater images at the speed of sound. The result is astounding movie-like, streaming video images that show movement of fish, schools of bait, and provides near instant feedback when navigating narrow channels, around rocks, reefs and other underwater obstacles.

Mechanical scanning sonars typically take several seconds to scan a 90-degree segment, and recent “real time” sonars take between one and two seconds to scan over 90-degrees. Interphase’s new Ultrascan PC90TM , uses a unique phased array transducer, with no moving parts, to simultaneously form multiple beams across a 90-degree segment. On the 100ft range, Ultrascan displays a complete 90-degree forward scan 24 times every second. Easy to install, Ultrascan’s fixed transducer requires no hoist or expensive sea chest. Don’t miss the action while waiting for a slow scan to update the display.

The super-fast Ultrascan PC90™ shows a live image, just like familiar medical ultrasound images. With Interphase’s Ultrascan you’ll see underwater action unfold as it happens—not after it’s over and gone.

Captains can use the forward looking side-to-side horizontal scanning pattern to navigate in shallow areas or, in deeper water, to locate and track moving schools of fish and bait. Then switch to the forward vertical mode to view changing bottom conditions ahead or warn of obstacles directly in the vessels path. The Ultrascan PC90™ also features a full screen or split screen conventional down-looking mode to show the area directly beneath your boat and provide a historical display of the depths below.

Complete with forward ranges to 1,200 feet, depths to 600 feet, auto-range, auto gain, forward alarms and many other advanced features. Be the first to own this amazing technology, contact your favorite dealer or Interphase today!
