Nasa Marine's new AIS stand alone instrument shows AIS details on a mono screen. The display looks like a simple ARPA (Automatic Radar Plotting Aid) radar screen, showing targets ranges and bearings relative to your boat, with a vector line showing their course etc. Each Targets AIS details will also be available in a tabular form shown to the right of the screen itself.

IC-M505

It meets the new Class "B" standard that allows vessels that are not required to fit Class "A" units to voluntarily fit an AIS transponder. Icom MA500TR AIS Transponder

Designed for Non-SOLAS vessels such as pleasure craft, workboats and small vessels, the MA-500TR is a compact, waterproof, Class B AIS transponder that actively notifies other vessels of your exact position, thus increasing safety at sea. The MA-500TR also has a dual channel receiver allowing boat owners to receive AIS information (both Class A and Class B AIS signals) on two channels simultaneously. This real-time information is then displayed on its large, backlit full dot-matrix display giving the boat owner real-time vessel traffic information thus aiding navigation and collision avoidance. The MA-500TR can work independently or connect with a PC or other marine network equipment. When connected to a compatible Icom VHF radio , an individual DSC call can be made easily from the MA-500TR.

Advansea AIS RX-100

The RX-100 outputs the received AIS data transmitted by vessels with class A and B transponders on the VHF - network and displays it on an AIS compatible GPS/Plotter via an NMEA 0138 interface. The RX-100 is also supplied with a USB cable for PC applications.

Advansea AIS TR-200

See and be seen: this new Class B AIS transceiver module enables both the transmission and reception of AIS data from your boat. Your vessel identification data is programmed into the TR-200 using the software and cable included with the transceiver.

You can also transmit a distress message using the main selection control, or turn off transmit function during races if you do not wish to be seen. The TR-200 AIS transceiver output connects to your GPS/Plotter via the NMEA0183 interface and to your PC through a serial connector (included). An active GPS antenna is supplied with the TR200 to supply the vessel position data to the transmitter module.
