Nasa Marine's new AIS stand alone instrument shows AIS details on a mono screen. The display looks like a simple ARPA (Automatic Radar Plotting Aid) radar screen, showing targets ranges and bearings relative to your boat, with a vector line showing their course etc. Each Targets AIS details will also be available in a tabular form shown to the right of the screen itself.

Connection of an external GPS and VHF antenna enables the SLR200G to output position, course and speed along with AIS data received on one single port. The CSB200 is a low cost AIS transponder, designed specifically for the Leisure Marine and Fishing Boat market. It meets the new Class "B" standard that allows vessels that are not required to fit Class "A" units to voluntarily fit an AIS transponder. It enables boats sailing in busy shipping lanes to automatically transmit their current position, course and speed to other vessels and shore stations within VHF range.

The CSD200 is a dedicated colour AIS Display designed to display and control information from either the CSA200 Class A transponder or the CSB200 Class B transponder. Full initialisation and control over either transponder is available from simple menu setup screens. All AIS equipped vessels within VHF range can be displayed on a radar like screen or on a worldwide background chart, and with the addition of a C-Map chart cartridge targets can be overlaid onto a full colour detailed chart background.

Available January2008 - subject to approval.The CSA200 is a compact Class A AIS transponder suitable for all vessels from large commercial ships, super yachts, fishing vessels, pilot boats, through to leisure boats. The CSA200 has an integral GNSS receiver, VHF transmitter, three VHF receivers and a 12/24VDC power supply. Mounted in a robust metal enclosure, all connecting cables run directly to the transponder, no additional cable junction boxes are required.
